Furniture & Home & Living
Your furniture data. Ready for your retail partners.
One sofa, several fabrics, different dimensions and a different file for every retailer. shopvibes connects central product data with channel-specific preparation. Use it as your team’s PIM or as a distribution layer for an existing PIM.
One data model for complex home assortments
Separate information that is easily confused in everyday work. Then derive the attributes each retail partner needs for its category.
| Data area | What your team maintains centrally |
|---|---|
| Identity & variants | Item numbers, EANs and relationships between sizes, colours and configurations. |
| Product dimensions | Width, height and depth with explicit units referring to the product itself. |
| Packaging & contents | Package dimensions, weights, packages per item and set components. |
| Materials & finishes | Material descriptions, upholstery, decor and available colour values. |
| Images & documents | Variant images, detail photography, assembly instructions and care information. |
| Copy & languages | Product descriptions and translations for the relevant target markets. |
One bed, two configurations, different dimensions
Fictional internal example: the NOVA bed frame for a 160 × 200 cm sleeping surface has external dimensions of 170 × 210 cm. The 180 cm configuration has external dimensions of 190 × 210 cm. Two packages describe shipping units, not variants or external product dimensions.
Put your product data workflow into practice
Start with one actual product family, identify the information each configuration needs and review how it reaches your retail partners.
-
Model variants and sets →

Keep sleeping dimensions, overall measurements, units and multiple shipping packages separate.
-
Prepare images for each retailer →

-
Answer questions on product pages →
Explain materials, dimensions and contents supplied clearly on your website and in retailer output.
From product record to retailer format
-
01
Bring data together
Maintain product information and media centrally. An existing ERP or PIM can remain the agreed source for master data.
-
02
Prepare for each partner
Map attributes, categories and values. Apply partner-specific units and title rules, and address missing information before delivery.
-
03
Deliver and review
Generate the required file or use a supported API integration. Review feedback and reuse the approved mapping.
One assortment, different requirements
Our integration pages explain the data workflows for Amazon Seller, OTTO Market, Kaufland, home24 and XXXLutz Marketplace. Delivery routes, supported data and approvals depend on the partner and your setup.
- OTTO Market
- Check product processing and marketplace status separately when a submitted item does not appear online.
- Kaufland
- Review the product data associated with the EAN separately from your own offer.
- home24
- Agree the category template and mapping for dimensions, materials and included components.
- XXXLutz Marketplace
- Assign title components and variants clearly, and account for retailer review and approval.

Can we keep our existing PIM?
Yes, shopvibes can act as a distribution layer. We agree data sources, ownership and import processes with your team. Forte illustrates a setup with an existing PIM.
Can we supply retailers without an API?
For file-based partners, retailer templates can be populated from central product data. The template and mapping are set up for the specific partner.
Does delivery guarantee publication?
Acceptance of a file or API request and publication are separate steps. Category requirements, import validation and retail partner approval still apply.
Bring your assortment and a retailer template.
Bring a product family with two configurations, a set or multi-package example, the relevant images and a current retailer template. Use them to discuss data sources, ownership and a suitable test output.
