The supplier workflow and XXXLutz Marketplace
Which XXXLutz process you use determines how to prepare your product data. This page covers your agreed supplier workflow. XXXLutz Marketplace with its Mirakl API has its own requirements and is described separately.
Approval or mapping for the marketplace does not establish an identical scope in the supplier portal. Start by clarifying which template or input requirements your contact provides, and which steps your team or a configured automation will handle.
Structure furniture data for handover
| Area | What to check |
|---|---|
| Identity | Item numbers and their associated configurations |
| Variants | Size, colour and material assigned to the correct item |
| Contents supplied | Single items and sets clearly distinguished |
| Dimensions and packaging | Product measurements and individual shipping packages kept separate |
| Media | Main image, detail images and documents assigned correctly |
Central product records help you reuse this information for other partners. The specific output is adapted to the intended process.
Example: three clearly described chair products
The fictional example contains a blue chair, a green chair and a set of two blue chairs. Each item number carries the correct contents supplied and matching media. Whether and how these items are grouped in the target process is checked against its current requirements.
Separate title requirements apply to the marketplace. The XXXLutz Marketplace title guide explains that specific workflow. Do not transfer those rules to another supplier process without checking them.
Clarify the workflow with shopvibes
- Identify the agreed sales model, account and category.
- Provide a current template or description of the required input.
- Define the data source and attribute mapping.
- Test a representative selection of variants and sets.
- Review feedback and the information actually accepted.
We use these requirements to agree whether a file, interface or portal support is appropriate for your supplier workflow. For configured template partners, you generate a file in shopvibes and then upload it to the retailer. Our retailer-template guide describes the general process.
Which questions come before the range test?
- Which data types will actually be delivered?
- Who maintains prices, stock and delivery information?
- Which steps remain with your team or partner contact?
- Where do you check feedback and approval?
- How are new categories and subsequent changes agreed?
Bring your agreed supplier workflow to a demo. A concrete example is the best basis for discussing how product maintenance and output fit your range.
