Scope

Separate the supplier workflow from the marketplace

The product data you prepare for home24 depends on your agreed sales model. This page covers preparation for a supplier workflow. The Mirakl-based marketplace model has its own home24 Marketplace integration page.

Before mapping, identify the relevant account, category and requirements. A marketplace template or menu option does not establish an identical process in the supplier model.

A furniture-data model for clear information

QuestionPreparation in the product records
Which size is being sold?Identify the configuration and item number clearly
Which measurement is meant?Maintain overall dimensions and, where relevant, sleeping dimensions separately
What is supplied?Distinguish the frame, mattress, slatted base and decorative items precisely
How is the item packed?Record package count, weights and packaging dimensions separately
Which media belong to it?Assign variant images and the matching assembly and care information

This table describes an internal preparation model. Mandatory fields and permitted values come from the current requirements of your supplier process.

Example: a bed in two sleeping sizes

A fictional bed with sleeping dimensions of 160 × 200 cm has different overall dimensions from the 180 × 200 cm configuration. Its record also states that the mattress and slatted base are not included. An image of a fully styled bed cannot replace a description of the contents supplied.

Compare both configurations side by side with their own measurements and images. The home24 product-data guide develops this furniture example in an explicitly identified marketplace context. The underlying separation of product information is also useful for your preparation.

Agree the specific output process

  1. Provide a current template or description of the requirements.
  2. Clarify the source and responsibility for content, media and offer information.
  3. Map target attributes and permitted values in the appropriate configuration.
  4. Generate and inspect output for a representative product group.
  5. Address the trading partner’s feedback and check the result.

For file-based output, a configured template can be populated from the central data. We use your requirements to establish whether this route applies to your supplier process and which subsequent updates are supported. Our retailer-template guide explains the general workflow.

Checklist before testing the range

  • Are the category and version of the requirements correct?
  • Are overall, sleeping and packaging dimensions distinguishable?
  • Do the contents supplied, images and item number match the configuration?
  • Has responsibility for prices and stock been defined separately?
  • Is it clear where acceptance and feedback are checked?
